Vanshu Limo Services - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Vanshu Limo Services, your premier luxury transportation provider in the San Jose Bay Area. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they govern your use of our services. By booking a reservation with Vanshu Limo Services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Company," "We," "Us," "Our": Refers to Vanshu Limo Services.
  • "Client," "You," "Your": Refers to the individual, group, or entity booking or using our services.
  • "Vehicle": Refers to any limousine, sedan, SUV, or other vehicle provided by Vanshu Limo Services.
  • "Service": Refers to any transportation or related service provided by Vanshu Limo Services.

2. Reservations and Booking

  • All reservations must be made in advance. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially for peak seasons or special events.
  • To secure a reservation, a valid credit card is required. For certain services or events, a deposit may be required at the time of booking.
  • Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email or text message, detailing the service date, time, vehicle type, and estimated cost. Please review it carefully.
  • It is the Client's responsibility to provide accurate information regarding pick-up/drop-off locations, dates, times, and passenger count. Inaccurate information may result in delays or additional charges.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All rates are subject to change without notice. Once a reservation is confirmed, the quoted rate will be honored.
  • Our rates are typically based on an hourly minimum, mileage, or a flat rate, depending on the service.
  • Additional charges may apply for tolls, airport fees, parking, extra stops, wait time beyond the grace period, and excessive cleaning.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of service or as otherwise agreed upon. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
  • A 20% gratuity for the driver will be automatically added to all reservations for their dedicated service. This ensures fair compensation for our professional chauffeurs.
  • A valid credit card must be kept on file for all reservations.
  • All credit card transactions will be processed through a secure payment gateway.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Sedans & SUVs (Non-Event):
    • Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time will not incur a charge.
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time will be charged the full estimated cost of the service.
  • Stretch Limousines, Vans, Buses & Specialty Vehicles:
    • Cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the scheduled pick-up time will not incur a charge.
    • Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time will be charged the full estimated cost of the service.
  • Special Events (e.g., Weddings, Proms, Concerts, Sporting Events) & Long-Distance Trips:
    • A non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking.
    • Specific cancellation policies for these events will be clearly communicated at the time of reservation and may differ from the standard policy.
    • Failure to cancel within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the full estimated service cost.
  • No-Shows: If the Client fails to show up at the designated pick-up location without prior notification, the full estimated cost of the service will be charged.

5. Wait Time

  • Airport Pick-ups: We offer a grace period of 30 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, starting from the flight's actual landing time (as tracked by us). After the grace period, wait time will be charged in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate for the vehicle type.
  • Non-Airport Pick-ups: A grace period of 15 minutes is provided for all non-airport pick-ups. After the grace period, wait time will be charged in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate for the vehicle type.

6. Client Responsibilities & Conduct

  • Safety Belts: All passengers must wear seat belts at all times, as required by law.
  • Smoking: Smoking of any substance (tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping, etc.) is strictly prohibited in all Vanshu Limo Services vehicles. A minimum cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for any violation.
  • Alcohol & Illicit Substances:
    • Alcohol consumption by passengers 21 years of age and older is permitted in the passenger compartment of limousines, provided it is consumed responsibly. Open containers are not allowed outside the vehicle.
    • The use or possession of illegal drugs or substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of service without refund, and authorities may be notified.
  • Damage to Vehicle: The Client is responsible for any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the vehicle by themselves or their guests. A minimum repair/cleaning fee of $250 will be charged, up to the full cost of repair/replacement. This includes, but is not limited to, spills, rips, tears, broken glass, or excessive mess.
  • Behavior: Vanshu Limo Services reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any passenger exhibiting unruly, abusive, or inappropriate behavior, or who poses a threat to the safety of the driver or other passengers, without refund.
  • Capacity: The number of passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the vehicle.
  • Lost Items: Vanshu Limo Services is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please check the vehicle thoroughly before exiting. If an item is found, we will make reasonable efforts to return it to the owner, but a delivery fee may apply.

7. Child Safety Seats

  • Clients are responsible for providing and installing their own child safety seats, as per California law. Our drivers are not permitted to install child safety seats. Please notify us if you will be using a child safety seat.

8. Vehicle Breakdown & Delays

  • Vanshu Limo Services takes every precaution to ensure our vehicles are well-maintained and reliable. However, in the unforeseen event of a mechanical breakdown, we will make every effort to provide a replacement vehicle of similar capacity as quickly as possible.
  • We are not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to, traffic congestion, accidents, road closures, severe weather, mechanical failure, or acts of God. We will do our best to communicate any such delays to the Client.

9. Liability

  • Vanshu Limo Services is not liable for any delays or missed events due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service in question.
  • Vanshu Limo Services holds all necessary licenses and insurance as required by law in the state of California and the San Jose Bay Area.

10. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy. All personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • Vanshu Limo Services reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
